For the smoothest mixing process:
- Export stems as WAV or AIFF files
- 24-bit · 44.1kHz minimum
- Label tracks clearly (Lead Vox, Kick, Harmony, etc.)
- Leave headroom — peaks below -6dBFS recommended
- Include reference tracks if possible
- Add notes for any sections needing special attention
